CHALLENGER SPACE
AND ROCKETRY

AGES 5 -12 SUMMER 2009

Challenger JR. SPACE AND ROCKETRY combines sports, space science, and computer technology into a day camp program focusing on developing team building skills. This program is especially designed to demonstrate the role that a cooperative team effort plays in scientific endeavors, in everyday life, and on the sports field. Build and launch a model rocket this summer. Since we introduce a new Space Science activity each week, you may register for as many weeks as you may wish.

Challenger Jr. combines the age appropriate activities of Camp Challenger with the non-competitive Sports/Fitness activities of Wee Wanna Be™. The Jr. Camp program is organized to provide "Learning Stations" featuring the fun-in-learning, hands-on activities based on the Space theme. You may register for as many weeks as you may wish.

KIDS, KEYS 'N SPORTS (formerly great writers camp)

AGES 5 -12 SUMMER 2009

Wow! A summer program that provides exercise for your child's body as well as his/her mind! It's two important lifetime skills combined into one fantastic location! Practice computer keyboarding and touch type skills, then take a break and practice sports skills. The keyboarding program is self paced, entertaining and designed to helps kids learn and improve their skills. Sports vary daily and weekly and may include instruction in soccer, hockey, basketball, lacrosse and more! All play, both keyboarding and sports, occurs in a non-competitive environment stressing teamwork, skill enhancement and cooperation strategies. It's a win-win situation for everyone! No previous experience required in this self-paced program. You may register for as many weeks as you may wish.

ENDLESS SUMMER CLUB HOLIDAY CAMP

AGES 3 - 12

9:30 AM - 3:30 PM Bauer Drive CC (August 17-21), Potomac CC (August 24-28) - Your Camp Director will provide time to enjoy age appropriate sports, games, arts & crafts and more plus time to chat and visit with your friends. The 'Endless Summer' will feature organized activities as well as special events. Participants choose the activities they want to participate in based on their own needs. Sports include soccer, basketball, hockey and others. In addition, we'll have games as well as non-competitive activities designed for everyone's enjoyment.

Bring a bag lunch. Price includes all materials.

Note: Little Campers ages 3-5 will rotate through age appropriate activities and may only register for the half-day session 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM! Price is per child. Extended Care available.
